All of the sturgeon farmed at Caviar Giaveri, are from Russian origin. The sturgeon are sustainably grown using modern fish farming technologies, and the caviar is harvested the old-world way- by hand. Caviar Giaveri Osietra Classic; (species Acipenser gueldenstaedtii) from sturgeon matured over 12 years. The perfectly identical, crisp, lustrous grains; medium (poppy-seed sized) with an intense nut-brown colour and gray undertones are unforgettably refined.
Caviar Giaveri Osietra Classic has a complex flavor profile consisting of mild and aromatic, with a creamy, luxurious finish. It has a distinct nut (walnut), fresh bread, with subtle brininess flavor. Caviar Giaveri uses the traditional Russian “Malossol” little salt) method to intensify the flavor. Best served on its own with toast points, croissant, or blini. Add traditional condiments as desired: crème fraiche, hard-boiled egg yolks, egg whites, chives, capers, and shallots or red onions; or use sparingly atop canapes and hors d’oeuvres.
